We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of Team GB Skeleton athletes Matt Weston and Marcus Wyatt during the 2023–2024 Skeleton World Cup season. The highlight of the year came when Matt Westonmade history by claiming the overall World Cup title in Men’s Skeleton, becoming the first Brit to do so in 16 years. Weston secured the crown with a stunning performance in Lake Placid, cementing his status as one of the sport’s greatest talents.
Throughout the season, Team GB delivered exceptional results, with Weston and Wyatt achieving a total of seven podium finishes between them. Weston also continued his stellar form at the 2024 World Skeleton Championships, earning silver medals in both the men’s individual event and the mixed relay, partnering with Tabitha Stoecker. Marcus Wyatt further strengthened Team GB’s reputation with several standout performances, demonstrating the depth of talent in British skeleton racing.
As proud charity ambassadors for Super Sliders, Matt and Marcus continue to inspire the next generation of athletes, exemplifying the hard work, dedication, and excellence we aim to foster in young people.
Congratulations to Matt and Marcus for their unforgettable season—you’ve made history and inspired us all!
